Elephant - Botswana

We were on a boat along the Chobe River in Botswana, just as the sun was starting to set. Along the riverbank, a group of elephant calves were playing together, running around and splashing in the shallow water.

We stayed quiet on the boat, just watching them. The calves would chase each other, nudge each other with their trunks, and occasionally stop to look around. Nearby adults kept a watchful eye but mostly let the youngsters play. It was a simple, fun moment — seeing the calves being so carefree and full of energy while the sun set behind them made it really memorable.
