Kangaroo - Australia

I took this photograph while watching a kangaroo standing alert watching me intently, its ears twitching at every sound around it. It paused for a moment, perfectly still, before slowly resuming its grazing — just long enough for me to capture the shot.

Kangaroos are one of Australia’s most recognisable animals, known for their powerful hind legs, strong tails, and distinctive hopping gait. They’re social creatures, often seen in groups called mobs, and can cover large distances with ease.
